🌬️ What if true luxury today was taking a break, catching your breath?

I love talking about breathing in all my coaching work.
For an organization, it’s a strategic step back.
For a team, it’s a retrospective (agile methods).
For a leader, it’s a moment for themselves, working on their leadership identity, a space to gain perspective.
Each time, these moments allow us to regain energy. Like breathing in the literal sense, which is a vital function—an anchor.

💭 But you… when did you last breathe fully?
A real breath. Deep. Calming.
The kind that brings you back here. Now, into your life.

It was by walking alone 1,500 km along the ocean that I caught my breath again.
Day after day, through landscapes, emotions, silences, and encounters… I learned to listen to my breathing.
It reconnected me. It guided me.

✨To breathe is to live—consciously.

Breathing is much more than an automatic act.
It’s a vital function, but also an anchor.
A doorway to the present moment, a communion with the living.
🌿 The exhalation of trees is our inhalation.
We are connected by this breath, a perpetual exchange between ourselves and the world.

To breathe is to be able to slow the frantic beating of our heart… and thus the tumult of our thoughts.

🔍 Breath as a tool for transformation

In ancient traditions, Pranayama, in Sanskrit, means “mastery of vital energy through breath.”
These are breathing techniques that teach us to balance our inner states.

There is a breath for every moment in life:

  • A tonic breath to awaken the body and activate energy in the morning,
  • A relaxing breath to calm the nervous system and ease tension in the evening,
  • A balanced or alternate breath to harmonize both hemispheres of the brain,
  • A breath that can relieve certain pains, both physical and emotional.

Breathing is a practice of presence, simple and powerful.
It centers us, gets us moving again, reconnects us to our life force.

🧘‍♀️ One minute to breathe

Before continuing to read… what if you gave yourself one minute to come back to yourself?
Here’s a simple breathing exercise you can do here, right now.

Exercise: Box Breathing

  1. Sit comfortably with your back straight. Close your eyes if you wish.
  2. Breathe in gently through your nose for 4 seconds.
  3. Hold your breath for 4 seconds.
  4. Breathe out slowly through your mouth for 4 seconds.
  5. Keep your lungs empty for 4 seconds.
  6. Repeat this cycle 4 times.

➡️ This breathing creates an immediate calming effect, regulates the nervous system, and helps restore clarity and calm. This is a practice we explore more deeply together during the retreat.

It’s from my experience that my retreat offerings in the Basque Country were born.
A moment to slow down, breathe, listen, realign, in the unique and powerful setting of the Basque Country:

🌿 During these retreats, I offer:

  • Individual coaching on an issue that’s “weighing on your mind”
  • Time for yourself, without pressure, in a restorative natural setting
  • A reconnection to your body through walking and breathing
  • Simple, effective routines to integrate into your daily life (meditation, movement, silence…)
  • A supportive space for exchange
  • Serenity, clarity

Who is this retreat for?

👉 For those who feel they’re running out of breath in their daily lives.
👉 For those who want to learn to breathe differently, fully, and consciously to reconnect with themselves and their needs.

You may feel the need to:

  • Breathe and slow down,
  • Step back, take stock, clarify a stage in your life,
  • Recreate connection with your body, your sensations, your energy,
  • Anchor simple routines to stay centered in a demanding daily life,
